STORYLINE
"Once upon a time, a man walked down a quiet path in the forest, toward the comfort of home. The path was safe, well-lit, and designed for one purpose- to be followed. (That's you! walk along the path, nothing can go wrong)"
THE PATH
A psychological horror game with comedic touches, where your flashlight is your only weapon… but don’t worry! You don’t need it. Right?
All you have to do is follow the path and make it home. What could go wrong?
GAMEPLAY
Reach home by following the path or straying into the unknown.
Hold the Left Mouse Click to use the beam at the right moment. It might save you, but don’t waste the batteries!
Try to reach all 3 endings.

Damn I didn't except this from a horror Indigame, pretty scary and exciting. Overall it's fun not to go along the instructions.

The stage was very dark! And the voice acting was 10 out of 10. I had a bug where even though I threw the beam at the monster's face, the monster killed me anyway :c But overall it was a very good experience!

For being made for a gamejam, this was not bad! Definitely loved the Stanley parable type humor, never see that often with indie horror games much anymore. Made a video on it.

Welp, a funny little experience, there is a little bug if you pick up only the batteries without the flashlight...your hand goes "flashlight mode" lol

I had fun playing this game, thanks for the experience! Also, the only thing that really bugged me was that the ending if you go along the path or go through the forest are the same. Anyways, fantastic job!

About the ending - it's a bug. Thanks to you we noticed it and got it fixed in the latest build. There's a different ending for each way you choose.

Fantastic game that explores horror and comedy perfectly - great job!
From the start, the game looked and felt like it was made with heart. The humor elements definitely outdid the horror ones, in my opinion, but the atmosphere felt very intense once I "stepped off" the path and things got so, so weird. I loved the sound design, the voice acting (I hope it wasn't AI) and overall execution of the game - awesome.

👉 Like GA02 said, really good forest ! Maybe something to reduce the player's vision could be cool, because sometimes this reduction appears and sometimes it doesn’t. Love the subtitles, really good job on that.
👉 Maybe a couple of things to fix: the game is lagging for me, maybe a quick quality settings system would help (I think the shaders are the most difficult to load). Also, there’s too much grain on the screen; it’s a bit too much and when you grab the flashlight, the flashlight isn't moving with your character, i thinks it's normal and more simple to create, but i say it anyway.
👉 Conclusion: very cool game for a one-week project, I enjoyed playing it,thanks to all the team behind also come rate my game, way more short than your 👍

Really enjoyed this! The atmosphere was super immersive, and the mix of tension and unpredictability kept me on edge. Loved the subtle humor too—it made the experience even more unique. Great job!
It's a nice horror game! But I ran around and got lost in the forest for about 10 minutes and couldn't find a way out. It really scared me.

cool comedy horror, cool lines from the announcer, the atmosphere with the glitch looks good, it was cool to run away from a weirdo in a mask in a suit in a dark forest.
